Stocks Reservoir lies within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Beauty and covers an area the size of 500 football pitches.
The reservoir is an important site for wildfowl with over 30 species making an appearance during an average winter.
A waymarked footpath circles the reservoir.
Fishing permits (for trout!) can be purchased from the Fishing Lodge.
